Activist Morara Kebaso was forced to flee after being heckled at the Bomas of Kenya during public participation on Deputy President Gachagua’s impeachment.
The 28-year-old outspoken critic of the Kenya Kwanza regime was injured in the chaos that erupted as he attempted to take the podium.
Videos circulating online show chairs being hurled at him amid loud jeers, and as tensions escalated, he had no choice but to escape to safety.
“I was barred from entering Bomas at the gate. When I finally got in, I was denied the mic at the Bomas floor. Chaos erupted. I am hurt. Headed to hospital. I live to speak another day,” Mr Kebaso posted on X, shortly after the incident.
The firebrand activist has been on a countrywide tour of stalled government projects to expose the laxity of those in authority.
He has been using his newly-found clamour on social media channels to expose how billions of shillings have been flagrantly pilfered on ghost projects across the country.
The incident comes days after he was arrested by the police and accused of cyber bulling and was released on Sh50,000 bond.
