The Kenya National Highways Authority (Kenha) has announced the temporary closure of several roads in Nairobi to facilitate the Nairobi City Marathon on Sunday, September 8.

- Nairobi Expressway: Closed between James Gichuru and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from Saturday 10 pm to Sunday 4 pm.
- Bunyala Road: Closed between Bunyala roundabout and Print Fast Kenya from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Uhuru Highway: Closed between Haile Selassie roundabout and Capital Centre from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Harry Thuku Road: Closed from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Koinange Street: Closed between University Way and Kenyatta Avenue from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Mama Ngina Street: Closed between Simba Street and Kimathi Street from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Taifa Road: Closed from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Parliament Road: Closed between Harambee Avenue and Haile Selassie Avenue from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Processional Way: Closed from Wednesday 9 am to Sunday 6 pm.
- Kenyatta Avenue: Closed between Processional Way and Uhuru Highway from Sunday 5 am to Sunday 1 pm.
- Aerodrome Road: Closed from Friday 10 pm to Sunday 6 pm.
- Waiyaki Way: Closed between James Gichuru and Expressway entrance from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Thika Highway Exit A2: Closed from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- University Way: Closed between Uhuru Highway roundabout and Slip Road from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Simba Street: Closed from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- City Hall Way: Closed between Simba Street and Parliament Road from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Harambee Avenue: Closed between Taifa and Parliament Road from Saturday midnight to Sunday 2 pm.
- Mombasa Road and Southern Bypass: Closed from Saturday midnight to Sunday 11 am.
