The family of rally Driver Maxine Wahome says she is innocent.
Through lawyer Phillip Murgor, the Wahome family says their daughter is not guilty.
Addressing the media at Kilimani Police Station where she is being detained, Murgor says he does not know why she was charged with murder
Murgor further says he has gone through all the evidence and facts and he does not know why the murder charge was preferred against his client
Murgor who has just taken over the case from the previous lawyer says he will not go into the merits of the case at this stage but hopes the state is ready to proceed with the case as soon as possible even this Thursday after plea taking.
Lawyer Murgor says the mental exam has been conducted on her Maxine this morning and she was found to be fit to stand trial.
She will take a plea tomorrow for the death of her late boyfriend Asad Khan
