Two traffic police officers operating along Othaya road have been accused of stealing Sh1 million from a Chinese national.
According to a police occurrence book report seen by Nai Haps , Liz Zhixin was stopped by two police officers while he was traveling along Othaya road.
After parking his car next to the highway, police officers took his license and car keys.
The police report indicates one of the traffic police officers searched the victim’s vehicle and discovered cash, which they made away with.
“One of the traffic personnel opened the back door seat and found an envelope containing Sh1 million and took it leaving behind his traffic cap,” reads the OB report.
The police officers are said to have sped away from the incident in their personal white Toyota Fielder car with the license plate KCL 762 and headed toward Gitanga road, according to the report.
The last letter of the license plate was not captured.
Zhixin took the cap and handed it over to his lawyer.
