In recent weeks, Sanaipei Tande has found herself amidst a whirlwind of online speculation, with rumors suggesting she’s pregnant and trying to conceal it. However, the talented musician has taken a stand to dispel these unfounded claims.
During an interview released on Lynn Ngugi’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, March 12th, Tande addressed the persistent rumors, affirming that they hold no merit. Reflecting on her journey in the spotlight, she shared insights into the challenges of navigating the landscape of gossip and false narratives that often accompany fame.
“At 19, when I first entered the industry, I saw things in black and white,” Tande revealed. “But as I gained experience behind the scenes, I realized that people can spin elaborate tales out of thin air. There’s an initial fear, thinking everything is straightforward. But then you learn that individuals can fabricate stories or attempt to trap you in compromising situations just to create drama.”
The seasoned artist emphasized her resilience against the agendas of rumor-mongers. “I used to be affected because I was young and impressionable. However, with time, I came to understand that the world operates in shades of gray. There are individuals out there who will stop at nothing to push a narrative.”
Tande stressed the importance of discerning between positive and negative news, asserting her immunity to the onslaught of rumors. “Rumors no longer have a hold on me. Speak your piece. Just last week, Twitter (now X) decided to impregnate me with gossip,” she quipped.
Taking a stand against cyberbullying, she reiterated her stance: “Even after two decades, some people have yet to understand that I will not divulge my personal information. So when they come knocking, it’s like talking to a brick wall. I refuse to engage. And just like that, the storm passes. What was a hot topic last week is now yesterday’s news. As long as you hold onto your truth, the noise shouldn’t shake you.”
