Renowned media personality Willis Raburu has bid farewell to TV47, a Cape Media-owned TV station, after serving for eight months.
Raburu, who initially joined the company as a show host, was later promoted to the position of Director of Digital Services and Innovation.
His departure comes shortly after he halted his popular show, the Wabebe Experience. A reliable source confirmed Raburu’s exit, marking the end of his tenure at TV47.
In his farewell message, Raburu expressed pride and gratitude for the growth achieved during his time with TV47. He thanked the station’s staff and viewers for their support and enthusiasm.
The decision to take a seasonal break for the Wabebe Experience was announced by Raburu on April 6. He assured viewers that the show would return in due course, promising that they were working diligently behind the scenes to ensure its comeback would be bigger and better.
Raburu, known for his collaborations with artists in Kenya, had joined Cape Media in August 2023, just two months after departing from Citizen TV.
