Revellers at the popular Quiver Lounge, located along Thika Road, narrowly escaped a tragedy on Sunday night after a section of the building collapsed following heavy rains.
A video circulating on social media shows the chaotic scene as revellers hurriedly left the packed entertainment joint after part of the building came crashing down.
While there were no major casualties reported, the deejay reportedly sustained injuries.
The Sunday night reggae event hosted by Moh Spice Deejays had to be abruptly stopped, and revellers were instructed to leave.
The incident adds to the ongoing challenges caused by heavy rains in different parts of the country, leading to significant property damage and loss of lives.
