Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja donated 500 goats to the Muslim community in honor of Eid al-Adha.
The donation ceremony took place at Uhuru Park, where Governor Sakaja reaffirmed his commitment to uniting Nairobians through excellent service delivery.
Governor Sakaja called on local politicians to prioritize fulfilling their promises to citizens rather than engaging in divisive ethnic politics. He emphasized the importance of remembering and supporting those less fortunate during the Eid celebrations.
Highlighting the recent reopening of Uhuru Park, Governor Sakaja invited the public to enjoy its renovated facilities. He noted that the beautifully refurbished park now provides a space for all Nairobians to come together and celebrate their customs and traditions.
