The Ministry of Tourism has in a statement on Tuesday announced supermodel Naomi Campbell as its international Magical Kenya Tourism Ambassador.
The World-renowned looker will help promote the marketting of Kenya as an ideal tourism travel and destination in the world.
The latest development, the Ministry said, was born of a a meeting between Ms Campbell and the Tourism CS Najib Balala over the weekend.
“We welcome the exciting news that Naomi Campbell will advocate for tourism and travel internationally for the Magical Kenya brand” CS Balala said.
During the meeting, Ms Campbell lauded the Kenyan government for improving the infrastructure at the coast including the upgrade to the Malindi Airport which she posits will boost tourism to the area.
