Gengetone singer a socialite Sheila Wairimu popular known as Shay Diva Africa was on Saturday morning arrested for allegedly stealing her sponsors Toyota Prado v8.
The Kitale based singer was picked up after the wife of the Asian sponsor accused her of transferring the fuel guzzler to her name.
According to the police, Ms Wairimu transferred the car to her name after her 61-year-old sponsor died three months ago.
“The suspect is accused of accessing the deceased’s TIMs/NTSA account to transfer the ownership of the vehicle to her name without following due processes of succession as required four days after his death,” police said.
She is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
