There was drama in Kitengela town on Monday when a reveler dragged a woman suspected to have spiked his drink to the Kitengela police station.
The heavily built shirtless man had dragged the woman from a local pub along Baraka road where the incident allegedly took place.
When it became hard for the seemingly intoxicated man to drag the girl to the police station, he bundled her on a motorcycle. He sandwiched the girl between himself and the rider, his towering frame scaring away onlookers.
At Kitengela police station, to the bewilderment of a heavily armed female police officer on duty, the man alighted from the motorcycle tightly holding the lady by her left-hand wrist before dragging her inside the police station.
It took the intervention of the Kitengela Ocs David Ole Shani for the man to loosen his grip on the woman.
According to the police preliminary investigation, the man identified as Emanuel Wamalwa, 32 who works as a security personnel in one of the local night spots, said he has been trailing the woman after she stole a colossal amount of money from him and his uncle after spiking his drink two weeks prior.
Wamalwa claimed the woman, who was working as a barmaid switched to a small pub along Baraka road in an attempt to cover her trails.
On her part, the suspect, identified as Aivin Laboso denied vehemently her association with a squad of notorious booze spikers who have taken Kitengela nightspots by storm.
She claimed the man had refused to settle a KES 1,750 alcohol bill.
A probe into the matter is still ongoing.
Last weekend saw a frenzy of reports on social media and several cases making to the local police station Occurrence Book (OB) book about revelers being spiked in Kitengela nightspots before losing monies and personal items.
