Jubilee Party has relocated its headquarters to Kileleshwa area, off Mandera area in Nairobi.
Until the relocation, the party had been based in a seven-story multi-million building located in Pangani at Thika Road.
The building was the party’s nerve center in the 2017 elections and housed offices crucial to its operations.
However, in 2021, the buzz of activities in the party was scaled down after the Party Leader retired President Uhuru Kenyatta severed ways with his then-deputy and now President William Ruto.
The Party’s Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni disclosed Wednesday about the relocation.
“Our focus will be on strengthening our county, constituency, and ward offices and recruiting more members,” Kioni said.
He added that the party is keen on “molding and nurturing the next generation of Jubilee leaders”.
In August 2022, the party’s Pangani building was auctioned by Garam Investment Auctioneers.
The auction notices required bidders to produce a bidding deposit of Sh5 million by way of cash or banker’s cheque before being allowed to bid.
The property is registered under Florence Wairimu Mbugua of Farmers Industry Limited.
The party was founded on September 8, 2016, following the merger of 11 smaller parties.
Jubilee party leased the complex in 2016, a year ahead of the 2017 General Election.
