Kenyan airline 748 Air Services Limited has announced that all domestic scheduled commercial flights will cease on March 1, 2023.
According to Managing Director Moses Mwangi, the airline has decided to focus on providing humanitarian aviation services in seven African countries.
“After extensive review of our business strategy, we have opted to focus on our core business, the Humanitarian Aviation, currently operating in 7 African Countries,” Mwangi said.
“We therefore regret to inform you that we have resolved to suspend all our Domestic Scheduled commercial flights effective 1st March 2023. Our ARS system will remain open up to the 30th day of June, 2023 to allow processing of refunds for all the advanced tickets paid,” he added
The airline started its domestic commercial operations on May 20, 2021, offering flights to Mombasa, Malindi, Diani, Kisumu and Maasai Mara.
The airline stated that its ARS system will remain operational until June 30, 2023, allowing refunds for all advanced tickets purchased.
The airline expressed gratitude to its customers and partners for their ongoing support and cooperation over the years.
Mwangi stated that the airline’s mission is to connect humanity with every flight by collaborating with humanitarian aviation partners.
