Nakuru County DCI are currently on the hunt for Maina Njenga, the former leader of the Mungiki sect.
According to DCI, Njenga is wanted in connection with the discovery of two firearms and a substantial quantity of cannabis at a residence believed to be linked to him.
During a raid conducted in Ngomongo village, Dundori ward, the officers apprehended eight individuals aged between 37 and 54.
The search yielded not only over 90 rolls of bhang but also three rounds of 9mm blank ammunition concealed within one of the rooms.
Among the firearms confiscated was a homemade pistol capable of discharging ammunition and a Tokarev handgun with a defaced serial number.
