The High Court has postponed the judgement of former TV news anchor Jackie Maribe and her ex-fiancé Jowie Irungu over the murder of late businesswoman Monica Kimani.
The judgement has been postponed to December 15.
Justice Grace Nzioka was to deliver the judgement today but pushed it to a later date as she is unwell.
The two ex-lovers are charged with the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani who was found dead with her throat slit at her Nairobi home in September 2018.
When the trial ended in in July, the defense handed in their final submissions where Irungu and Maribe, through their lawyers, asked the court to acquit them.
They argued that the prosecution had failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that they are culpable of killing Monica who was found brutally murdered at her home in Lamuria Gardens.
