The accid£nt involved the car, a pedestrian and a motorcyclist and his pillion.
Mwendwa is accused of taking the lives of Stephen Musyoka and Richard Omwota.
The IG’s son is said to have been driving in a dangerous manner, posing a risk to other road users. Mwendwa’s car reportedly swerved to the wrong side of the road and hit two motorcycles causing the demise of the two.
He denied the two traffic charges and is out on a bond of Sh500,000 or a cash bail of Sh300,000.
