Newly released data reveals that President William Ruto has made at least 63 international trips in the past 21 months, averaging nearly three foreign trips per month.
This frequency is almost double the number of trips made by the late retired President Mwai Kibaki during his 10-year tenure.
Ruto’s travels are also nearly half the number of trips retired President Uhuru Kenyatta made throughout his entire term.
Specifically, the data shows that the late President Kibaki made a total of 33 foreign trips over 10 years. In contrast, his successor, President Uhuru Kenyatta, made 151 trips abroad during his time in office. This comparison underscores the significantly higher frequency of international travel undertaken by President Ruto within a much shorter period.
