A 28-year-old Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) senior private has been arrested alongside three others by detectives based in Kasarani.
In a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) issued on Saturday morning, the four suspects reportedly kidnapped a 24-year-old man from his house in Kasarani before disappearing .
The matter was reported by the victim’s kin whereupon detectives swung into action leading to the rescue of the victim at a house in Kahawa Wendani.
Detectives found three other people at the house; two men and two women who are believed to have been part of the kidnapping.
A Toyota Noah that was used to pick the victim from his house as well as some of his belongings were also recovered.
The suspects are in lawful custody as detectives probe the motive of the kidnapping.
