Paul Ndichu has pleaded not guilty to assault and malicious damage of property at Ole Sereni hotel on October 17, 2021.
His twin brother, Eddie, is set to take plea on March 21, 2022.
The twin brothers are facing the charges at Kibera Law Courts following a scuffle with Stephanie and Cheryl Murgor at the Ole Sereni hotel.
The Murgor sisters filed complaints with police, saying that they were physically assaulted by the brothers, and a motor vehicle owned by a friend of theirs damaged.
Part of the scuffle was captured on CCTV.
Paul Mwaura Ndichu is accused of assaulting Cheryl Murgor, Stephanie Murgor, Chelimo Murgor while Edward Wanyoike Ndichu is charged with assaulting Samuel Ramdas causing them actual bodily harm.
The twins are charged jointly with malicious damage of side mirrors of Ramdas’ motor vehicle worth Sh87,000.
It is alleged that the two committed the offences on the night of October 16 and 17, 2021 in Lang’ata Sub-county at Emara Olesereni Hotel in Nairobi.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh100,000 with an alternative bond of Sh100,000 with a surety of similar amount. His brother Edward was not in court as he was denied permission to be absent from work.
The matter was before Kibra Law Court Senior Resident Magistrate Renee Kitawa who directed the matter be mentioned on March 21, 2022 for Edward Ndichu to plead to the charges.
