In a move that is likely to shake the Fashion Industry in Kenya at its core, Nigerian Beauty icon Milolar is set to make its entry in the Kenyan market.
CEO and company founder of Milolar Ms Damilola Otubanjo will be jetting into the country for the grand launch and excitement is already building up.
This entry into the Kenyan market brings into focus the thriving beauty industry in Kenya that is estimated to be in the billions.
“Hi guys I want to officially announce that I am coming to Kenya to launch our brand new shop, we have so many activities planned I am so excited it’s going to be a party,” Milolar CEO, Damilola Otubanjo said on her official Instagram.
Speaking exclusively to Nai Haps Damilola revealed that though they get a lot of interest from various countries in Africa, the demand in the Kenyan market is very strong, because people have the buying power. Former miss Kenya Joyce Baye Laekono has at been at forefront of advocating for safer skin care solutions, she discovered Milolar products after her pregnancy when she was looking for restorative solutions.
“It’s unfortunate that women often feel that they have to let go of themselves after they get a baby,” she said “I have used Milolar ever since I got my baby and it has worked like magic, I look forward to hosting Damilola and giving her a good taste of Kenyan hospitality,” she added.
The launch which will take place at the Kosher Headquarters will entail a foray of activities starting with the grand arrival of the Milolar CEO, on Wednesday.
Joyce a former franchise holder of the Miss Tourism Marsabit County will take the CEO on a Nairobi tour on the Thursday, to be followed by a two day Kosher open day which will take place on the 12th and 13th of February at the headquarters that is situated at the former Pride Inn Lantana suites.
The day will begin with the launch of the Kosher waiting list and end with a Milolar meet and great where fans and customers will have a one on one with the CEO.
An all-white after party to celebrate Milolars CEO’s birthday is slated later that day with the meet and greet continuing the next day on Saturday.
An invite only grand gala complete with a red carpet, Pool side fashion show and great performances will go down on Valentine day at the Kosher Headquarters in Westland’s.
