Oraimo Kenya on Thursday launched their newest edition of pods, Freepods 4 in Kenya.
Their aim with the fourth generation of Oraimo’s FreePods 4 wireless earbud series is to woo the youthful population, to whom mobile phones are now a fashion statement.
The design leaves a lasting imprint with its casing which looks and feels premium.
The slide-to-open feature bucks the flip-to-open trend while the anti-drop magnets keep the pods tucked safely even with a bit of a shake.
They are fitted with anti-drop magnets that makes it fit sturdily in the ear, the firm says the premium device is waterproof and sweat proof and perfect for outdoor errands and workouts.
“It is equipped with a sound tuning technology for bass boost, which gives a nostalgic feeling especially while listening to bass drop songs,” the company said in a statement.
The pods are supported by Bluetooth 5.0, the wireless connection is impressive as it pairs easily with other devices, including Apple devices.
“All you have to do is remove earbuds its case and turn on your device’s Bluetooth and you’ll be connected in seconds,” the statement adds.
The earbud has an automatic pop-up window feature which instantly displays useful information in real-time and allows for quick configuration on the go.
“The tap to pause, skip or resume button is also a plus,” they said.
The premium wireless earbuds are equipped with the latest ANC technology which can reduce up to 30dB of noise, a top-shelf feature that audiophiles would greatly appreciate. It boasts of an advanced 4-mic Proprietary Beamforming array and AI Deep Neural Network algorithm that can accurately detect and reduce noise in calls.
In addition to its fast-charging technology which enables the battery to fill up much faster, the buds come with an impressive battery life, with up to 36 hours of music listening.

The transparency mode offers a real-time awareness of the ambient noise environment, fostering safety, and enhancing communication without having to remove the earbuds.
The earbuds which can be ordered from the company’s official website (ke.oraimo.com) is retailing at Sh4,500, signaling the fast-growing urban and youthful middleclass segment of the population as a key target market.
