Edday Nderitu, the wife of Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh, has penned an emotional letter to her husband and his lover nominated senator Karen Nyamu.
In the lengthy post on her Facebook page on Friday, Edday said she has endured three years of pain and humiliation due to Samidoh’s infidelity. She said she has remained faithful to him despite being trolled on social media and disrespected by Nyamu.
“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain,” Edday wrote in her statement.
She also said she has supported Samidoh’s talent and career but he has taken her silence for granted. She added that she will not raise her kids in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is older than her by more than 10 years and has no morals.
“I will not raise my kids in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years, has no morals, and zero respect to my family as you put it,” Edday wrote. “You have dragged and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain, may you remember this day.”
Edday’s post comes after photos emerged of Samidoh and Nyamu together at the burial of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s sister-in-law at Kamunyaka Village, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County. The photos were posted by Nyamu on her Facebook page.
Samidoh and Nyamu have previously apologized to Edday for their actions but things seem not to change. Nyamu had earlier said she had ended her relationship with the Mugithi star.
Edday concluded her letter by saying that she has nothing to tell God about Samidoh and that he has dragged her and their kids into an ocean of pain.
