The national rugby sevens team Shujaa has been pooled in Group C in the third leg of the World rugby sevens series scheduled December 9-11 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Kenya will face New Zealand, Argentina and Spain.
Kenya collected 5 points from the just concluded Dubai 7s, a result that catapulted them to 14th place on the standings with 6 points.
Australia and South Africa lead the standings with 30poin30 points while France is third two points adrift.
Meanwhile, Tony Omondi emerged at the top marksman for Shujaa in Dubai after scoring a total of 17 points while Billy Odhiambo was second on 15 points , havng scored 3 tries.
The quartet of Dennis Abukuse, Herman Humwa, Kevin Wekesa and Nelson Oyoo were joint third with 10 points, having scored 2 tries apiece with Willy Ambaka (5 points) and Daniel Taabu (2 points) round off Shujaa’s point scorers in Dubai.
Overall, the team scored 13 tries in Dubai.
