Tragedy struck on the Kabarnet-Marigat highway in Baringo County as a school bus, carrying students and staff from Kapsabet Boys High School, overturned at the Patkawanin area. Regrettably, the accident claimed the lives of a student and a teacher.
Police reports indicate that the bus was carrying a total of 63 passengers, including 61 students, one teacher, and the driver. The incident occurred when the bus lost control while navigating a sharp turn, ultimately tumbling down a steep slope.
