TECNO has unveiled the latest Spark, the Spark 10 series, with an upgraded camera, bigger storage capacity, a G88 gaming processor, and a sleek design that distinguishes it from its predecessors.
It is also equipped with the latest Android operating system and promises to offer a seamless user experience.
The new budget Spark 10 series lineup which was launched on Friday succeeds the Spark 9 series from last year and includes the regular Spark 10 and Spark 10 Pro. Spark 10C and Spark 10 5G also feature in the lineup.
The 10 Pro. is a feature-packed smartphone designed to cater to the needs of the modern smartphone user. It comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ display with 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution.
The display is large enough to provide an immersive viewing experience, and the resolution ensures that images and videos are sharp and clear.
Engineered for selfie fanatics, the Spark 10 Pro has a 32MP Ultra-Clear Front Camera with 4-in-1 HW Remosaic technology. By synthesizing the small pixel size of 0.8um into a bigger pixel size of 1.6um, the sensitivity of the pixel’s area is increased by 400 per cent, which allows the camera to capture great details with even greater clarity.
Storage starts at 128GB and 256GB for the regular and 10 Pro respectively with the option to expand using an external microSD up to 1TB.
Spark 10 gets to keep the same Helio G37 processor as the Spark 9 but the RAM increaseS from 4GB to 8GB with the option of using the expandable RAM feature that adds another 8GB of virtual RAM.
The Spark 10 series supports dual 4G with dual slots next to the slot for expandable storage and ships with Android 13 baked in with HiOS 12.6 tagging along.
The whole series will be available in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, South America, the Middle East, and some European countries. The retail price is subject to each market.
Spark 10 C will retail at 15,500, while Spark 10 5G will go for Sh17,500, Spark 10 will retail at Sh19,300 and Spark 10 Pro will be at Sh20,500.
