Police arrested Televangelist Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Centre and Church on Thursday.
He was arrested over the alleged indoctrination of the public even as the probe into the death of controversial preacher Paul Mackenzie’s followers continue.
In videos shared on social media, Pastor Ezekiel drove himself to the Coast Region Police headquarters in his sleek Lexus LX 570, which has now become the talk of the town.

The car is white in colour just like Ezekiel’s robe.
He is seen opening the door as a police officer waits for him and then closes it before proceeding to the police offices.
The vehicle is associated with wealthy and influential people in society, including politicians.
The Lexus LX 570 model is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with a price that ranges from between Sh20 million to Sh27 million, depending on the year of manufacture.

The vehicle has an eight-cylinder (V8) 5,700cc petrol engine and is also fitted with special features to match its high-end status.
One notable figure that uses the same model is President William Ruto who used it during campaigns and currently uses the same as his official car.
Ezekiel was arrested Thursday morning over what Coast Regional Coordinator Rhoda Onyancha termed as “allegations of deaths at his premises and reported in morgues”.
The New Life Prayer Centre and Church has been shut down Thursday morning, as the televangelist was arrested in Kilifi county and booked at Police Headquarters in Mombasa.
