Three people have been charged with obtaining over Sh64 million by deception.
The three, Partick Ngare, Kelvin Mwaura and Muke Wa Mansoni are charged that on diverse dates between April 2021 and April 14, 2023 at Kilimani area in Nairobi within Nairobi City County, they obtained Sh64 million from Sadeghain Abolfazi.
They are also charged with obtaining money through false pretense.
According to court documents, they are alleged to have pretended to be in a position to sell 60 kilos of gold to Sadegh Sadeghain Abolfaz, a fact they knew to be false.
They appeared before chief magistrate Lukas Onyina on Wednesday.
Their application for bail will be determined on Thursday, April 19.
