In a recent episode of “Real Housewives of Nairobi,” socialite Vera Sidika made a startling revelation to her mother, Mrs. Mung’asia, about her marital status with singer Brown Mauzo.
The emotional conversation took place during a family meal with her mother and brother Josh, shortly after Vera returned from an international trip.
Vera opened up about her difficult time during her separation from Mauzo, emphasizing the measures she took to protect her children. “I remember the time before I travelled, I had to, you know, fix the cameras and everything because I was going through this break-up situation with Brown. It was a really hard time. And I feel like my family was there for me. And I am really grateful, mum,” she shared.
In the episode, Vera’s mother, dressed in a bright orange African print, provided comforting yet firm advice, reminding Vera not to let her past define her future. “Never let the past define your future,” she said.
Vera then disclosed that she and Mauzo had legalized their marriage just a month after his proposal, which came as a surprise to her mother. “He (Mauzo) proposed to me and the next month after the proposal we legalised our marriage,” Vera revealed.
The conversation took a dramatic turn when Vera announced her plans to finalize her divorce from Mauzo. “I am looking for a lawyer to finalise my divorce,” she stated, leaving her mother in disbelief.
Vera also mentioned that her brother Josh was fully aware of her situation, even though she had kept it from her mother. “My brother Josh knows everything that goes on in my life, but he keeps secrets,” she added.
Vera Sidika and Brown Mauzo, who have two children together, separated in 2023. The episode has stirred significant interest among fans and followers eager to learn more about Vera’s private life.
