Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has vowed to bring to book saboteurs who allegedly disrupted the backup power supply at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Sunday.
Speaking after the North Rift OKM Peace Cup match in Baringo, CS Murkomen said he was working with the authorities to expose the culprits who allegedly sabotaged JKIA’s generators during the recent national blackout.
“I have been informed that the JKIA generator that failed the other day was due to sabotage, I was with IG Koome today after writing to him about it, you will soon see how we will bring those responsible to justice, ” he said.
He added that he is fully responsible for ensuring that there’s infrastructural development in the country.“
In January, we will announce a new airport terminal in Nairobi that will be completed in 3 years,” Murkomen said.
