Victoria Rubadiri, a prominent Kenyan news anchor, has officially joined CNN for a new role in their long-standing series ‘Connecting Africa’ and as part of the network’s newsgathering operation in Nairobi.
In her new role, Rubadiri will contribute to ‘Connecting Africa’, a multiplatform series that delves into the stories of emerging businesses across the continent and explores the impacts of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.
Rubadiri brings with her a wealth of experience from her time at Citizen TV, where she served as a senior anchor and reporter. With a background in radio presenting in both Kenya and the US, Rubadiri holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia.
In recognition of her exceptional talent in storytelling, Rubadiri was awarded the prestigious BBC World News Komla Dumor Award in 2020.
