Kari Mwailu Primary School’s Mumo Faith is the top 2020 KCPE candidate in the country, after scoring 433 marks out of the total 500.
Announcing the national exam’s results on Wednesday, Education CS George Magoha said the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates’ overall performance remained the same compared to 2019.
Public schools scooped ten out of the 15 slots of overall best candidates, with girls taking eight including the first three overall slots.
How to check 2020 KCPE results
To get individual 2020 KCPE results, the ministry in collaboration with telecommunication companies have set up a short message service.
You are supposed to send INDEX NUMBER followed by the initials KCPE to 20076.
The 2020 KCPE overall performance improved compared to 2019. Although the mark of the top candidate dropped from 440 to 433 in 2020, the mean average performance and quality of grades for all candidates is higher.
