Joseph Mwenda popularly known as DJ Joe Mfalme has announced his exit from Capital FM.
The DJ made the announcement through his social media channels on Tuesday.
In his statement, Mfalme thanked Capital FM for believing him an opportunity to him when all he had was only dreams and ambition to entertain people as a Disk Jockey.
He went on to state that he will forever be grateful to the station’s management for giving him the opportunity to do what he loves and growing.
“I would like to thank the Capital FM Kenya family for giving an opportunity to a young man from Meru who had dreams and ambitions of entertaining people through the art of deejaying. I have made some of my best memories working with Capital FM Kenya and I will eternally be grateful to them for the growth and opportunity awarded to me.”
DJ Joe Mfalme said it was time for him to expand his horizons and would soon be making a major announcement on his next project.
He is among Kenya’s most sought after mixmaster’s. His career soared after he won the 2008 Pilsner Mfalme competition.
He hosted shows like recently cancelled Hits Not Homework and the Big Bounce.
Dj Joe Mfalme has performed at various international gigs and worked with top organizations and is known to play almost every genre of music.
“He prides himself on his hard work, time management and professionalism,” Capital describes the disc jockey.
He recently opened a nightclub along Baricho Road known as The Tap.
