Detectives have arrested a police officer accused of defiling his 16-year-old sister-in-law in Mwiki.
The rogue officer is being held at the Kayole Police Station – where is based and he is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
The incident happened on Friday morning at his Matopeni area residence according to a police report seen by Nai Haps.
The minor was undertaking her personal chores when the officer allegedly attacked her and then left for work.
“She informed her sister, and then they reported the incident to police,” a police officer based at Kayole Police Station where the incident was reported said,
A medical report confirmed that the girl was defiled. She was discharged after treatment.
